The Haryana School Education Board is going to conduct the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET 2018) 5 and 6 January 2019. The HTET Admit Card for this exam can be downloaded from 25 December 2018.
The exam was earlier shceduled to take place in December but due unavaoidable circumstances, the exam got scheduled in January.
Around 5 Lakh candidates will take part in the HTET 2018. The HTET will be conducted for 3 different Levels. Haryana is the only state board in India to conduct the TET exam at 3 different levels as other boards restrict themselves to 2 levels only.
LEVEL 1 PRT Teacher (JBT): The Level 1 or Paper 1 is for the Primary Teacher. Only the candidates having done JBT (aka D.EL.Ed) are eligible to take part in Level 1 Exam. The candidates are eligible to teach the class 1 to 5.
LEVEL 2 TGT: The Trained Graduate Teacher is Level 2 exam. The candidates with Graduation plus B.Ed degree are eligible for this Level 2 Exam. They can teach class 5 to 8.
LEVEL 3 PGT: The candidates having done Post Graduation and B.Ed are eligible for Level 3 HTET. These candidates are eligible for the Lecturer Posts who can teach class 9 to 12.

- HTET Level – 1 PRT – 06-01-2019 (3:00 PM to 05:30 PM) SUNDAY
- HTET Level – 2 TGT 06-01-2019 (10:00 AM to 12:30 PM) SUNDAY
- HTET Level – 3 PGT – LECTURER 05-01-2019 (03:00 PM to 05:30 PM) SATURDAY
HTET 2018 Admit Card Details for all levels
The HBSE board will release the HTET 2018 Admit Card on the official website from 20 December onwards. THE HTET Admit cards will not be sent by post to the postal address of the candidates. The candidates can download the HTET Admit Card by using the registration number and date of birth.
The admit card/ HTET Roll Number will contain all the importamt information regarding the candidates like roll number, name, photograph, exam center detail and exam timings etc printed on it. The candidates must check the details properly. After examination, the complaints regarding admit card will be entertained.
